How does SaTekk price projects?+
We offer two models: fixed-price project work for clearly-scoped builds, and monthly retainers for ongoing AI capabilities. Every engagement starts with a free 30-minute discovery call where we scope the project precisely and give you a fixed price before any contract is signed. No time-and-materials billing — no surprise invoices.
What's included in the free strategy call?+
A 30-minute video call where we learn your use case, recommend the right solution architecture, estimate the timeline, and give you a fixed-price quote. No commitment required. We also tell you honestly if a simpler or cheaper approach would better serve your needs.
Are there ongoing fees after project delivery?+
No ongoing fees to SaTekk unless you choose a monthly retainer. You own 100% of the source code and infrastructure. Your only ongoing costs are standard third-party services: your LLM API provider (OpenAI, Anthropic — typically $50–500/mo depending on usage), your hosting platform (Railway/Vercel — typically $20–100/mo), and any SaaS tools in your stack. We design everything with cost efficiency in mind.
What if my project doesn't fit a standard tier?+
Most of our work is custom-scoped. The tiers above represent common entry points, but your specific needs may be different — more complex, simpler, or a hybrid. Book a free call and we'll scope your exact requirements and give you a precise fixed-price quote.
Do you offer startup or early-stage discounts?+
Yes. We work with pre-seed and seed-stage startups on adjusted pricing when there's a compelling use case and a strong technical fit. Mention your stage on the discovery call and we'll discuss options. We'd rather build something great at a price you can afford than lose a good project.
Can I cancel a monthly retainer?+
