Are timezones an issue working with a US agency?+
Not at all — this is the simplest part. Toronto and Montreal share Eastern time with much of our team, Vancouver shares Pacific, and Calgary sits in between. Meetings happen in normal business hours for both sides, with no overnight gaps or awkward scheduling. Practically speaking, it works exactly like hiring domestically.
How does PIPEDA and Canadian privacy law affect the build?+
We design so personal information stays under your control. Retrieval-based architectures mean the model reads your data rather than absorbing it, which makes consent and data-residency questions far simpler to answer. We sign a Data Processing Agreement, publish our subprocessors so your team can review them, and can keep data inside Canadian or US infrastructure where your obligations require it. We agree the specifics during scoping.
Do you invoice in CAD or USD?+
We invoice in USD. Canadian clients most often pay by wire or Wise; card is available for smaller engagements. Terms are 50% up front and 50% on delivery, or 30% up front with the balance spread weekly across the build. We will always quote the USD figure clearly so there are no exchange-rate surprises.
Can you sign an NDA before we discuss the project?+
Yes, and it is a sensible first step for anything sensitive. Send yours over or we will provide one. We can also work under your standard vendor agreement — just note that contracts are with our US entity.
What does a typical project cost?+
Launch builds start at $2,500, automation and voice-agent work at $8,000, and full products at $25,000. Those are starting points; the exact price is fixed in writing after a $1,000 opportunity audit, which is credited against the build if you go ahead.
