Can a US agency really serve a UK company properly?+
Yes, and the timezone question is the fair one to ask. We schedule calls and demos in UK working hours — our team covers GMT/BST rather than asking you to fit around US time. Between meetings, async updates keep the build moving overnight, so you often wake up to progress. In practice, UK clients tend to find the overlap better than with an agency in a single fixed timezone.
How does UK GDPR work with an American supplier?+
We sign a Data Processing Agreement before any personal data is touched, and our subprocessors are listed publicly so your DPO can review them up front. Where your requirements demand it, we architect so that personal data stays inside UK or EU infrastructure and never leaves your own systems — retrieval-based designs make this straightforward, because the model reads your data rather than absorbing it. We will align on the specifics during scoping rather than after signature.
How do we pay, and in what currency?+
We invoice in USD. UK clients usually pay by international bank transfer or Wise, which avoids the poor exchange rates and heavy fees of a straight SWIFT payment. Card payment is available for smaller engagements. Payment is either 50% to start and 50% on delivery, or 30% up front with the balance spread weekly across the build.
Do you have a UK entity or office?+
No. SaTekk is a US company (a Wyoming LLC) working entirely remotely, and we would rather say that plainly than imply a local presence we do not have. Contracts are with the US entity. If your procurement process specifically requires a UK-registered supplier, tell us early and we will be honest about whether we are the right fit.
What does a project cost?+
Packages start at $2,500 for a launch build, $8,000 for automation or a voice agent, and $25,000 for a full product. Every number is a starting point, and the exact figure is fixed in writing after a $1,000 opportunity audit — which is credited in full against the build if you proceed.
